Carbon-Based Reshaping: From Precision Eugenics to Targeted Anti-Aging
A journey born for life
On a serene afternoon in October, the library on floor 9 of the club exuded quiet elegance as warm sunlight streamed through the windows, setting a gentle tone for an in-depth dialogue on "the essence of life." On 10/22, we gathered under the theme "Carbon-Based Reshaping: From Precision Eugenics to Targeted Anti-Aging," with Professor Hu Yueyue leading the discussion. Together with club members, we explored core questions such as "Are we all born at the same starting line?" and "How can we achieve longevity with quality?"—launching a journey of life cognition centered on "living fully toward life."
Speaker: A Guide at the Frontier of Life Sciences

The speaker for this session, Professor Hu Yueyue, is the founder of Beijing Qingda Huisheng Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. A top-tier scholar with a B.S. from Tsinghua University, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Yale, and an MBA from MIT, she brings 17 years of experience in medical investment and management. Her career spans from industrial sectors at General Electric to cross-border healthcare M&A, before focusing on eugenics and anti-aging. She has personally led the acquisition of a U.S. reproductive center by a Hong Kong-listed company and built a multinational medical team with clinics and laboratories in Beijing, Kazakhstan, and the U.S., always operating as a practitioner at the forefront of global life sciences.
Core Insight: Deconstructing the Underlying Logic of "Optimal Offspring" and "Anti-Aging"
Professor Hu's presentation avoids dense academic jargon. Instead, it weaves together personal insights, industry practice, and classic case studies to make complex life science topics clear and accessible.
1. Eugenics: Optimizing the "Factory Settings" of Life
"We often say birth is a blank slate, but in reality, the moment sperm meets egg, the genetic code largely sets the foundation for personality, intelligence, and athletic ability." Professor Hu challenged this common belief, while emphasizing that "this foundation is not fixed."
She cites the Rothschild family's century-old legacy of passing down wealth and lineage through "many children of high quality," as well as Musk's eugenics practices—such as using assisted reproductive technologies to have 14 children and investing in the AI embryo screening company Superbaby—to illustrate that "the core of family legacy is the continuity of superior genes."
A deeper look at the evolution of assisted reproductive technologies:
- Third-generation IVF(Required for medical indication in China; standard option in the U.S.) Prevents chromosomal disorders like "test-tube babies" and screens for single-gene genetic diseases.
- Fourth-generation IVF(Mitochondrial Replacement Therapy) Although banned in most regions globally, it is compliant in Eastern Europe and can help older women overcome fertility challenges.
- Fertility Preservation(-196℃ liquid nitrogen egg/sperm freezing) is becoming a new choice. While egg freezing for single women in China remains unavailable, awareness among young men regarding sperm freezing has risen significantly, helping them retain future reproductive autonomy.
2. Anti-Aging: From "Broad-Spectrum" to "Targeted Precision Intervention"

When David Baker, 2024 Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry, proposed that "AI will overcome most human diseases in the next 10 years," the question of "how to achieve high-quality longevity" has become a new challenge. Professor Hu focused on "targeted anti-aging," sharing three cutting-edge directions:
- Ovarian-targeted anti-aging: Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell injection has been approved in Boao, Hainan, for perimenopausal women. Fujita Health University trials showed that among 15 postmenopausal women with over 3 years since menopause, 4 resumed menstruation. The therapy also regulates gynecological endocrine function, improving skin quality, mood, and bone density.
- Brain Anti-AgingThe most undignified form of aging is brain decline. Research by Professor Wang Renzhi's team at Peking Union Medical College Hospital using human neural stem cells shows a 75% success rate in treating Alzheimer's and Parkinson's patients. Early intervention can be achieved through daily brain function assessments and supplementation with brain nutrients.
- Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)The leading anti-aging solution in the U.S., derived from plants to match human molecular structures. Free from synthetic hormones and cancer risks, it alleviates fatigue, hot flashes, and other signs of aging within two weeks—making it the top choice for political and business elites.
Live Interaction: Intimate Sharing with Warmth and Practical Insights

Unlike large lectures, this exclusive member sharing session offers a more intimate and in-depth experience. During the interactive segment, members raised practical questions such as "differences between domestic hormone therapy and US BHRT," "address of the Beijing Prenatal Care Clinic," and "daily interventions for brain anti-aging." Professor Hu provided detailed answers to each question and proactively shared his personal WeChat contact, creating a direct channel for members seeking deeper follow-up discussions.
A member joked, "I meant to ask about brain anti-aging, but I got so nervous my mind went blank." In this relaxed atmosphere, meaningful ideas and genuine connections flow naturally—exactly the spirit behind the Changan Club's Member Sharing Sessions. More than just knowledge sharing, it's a premier platform for high-end networking and resource building.
Explore more possibilities of life with members
From "Carbon-Based Reshaping" to "Living for Life," this session is more than an exploration of life sciences—it's a realization of Chang'an Club's mission to cultivate premium lifestyles and expand members' cognitive horizons. We firmly believe that true high-end networking thrives on deep, meaningful conversations among like-minded individuals around valuable topics. Our role is to provide the stage for these dialogues.
