By evening, the check-in area was already buzzing with activity. Guests checked in for photos and collected stamps through interactive stations, sipping refreshing blended drinks and lemonades to shake off their fatigue. When the lucky Spanish bluefin tuna made its appearance, everyone gathered to snap pictures, capturing a moment with tonight's star before the main event even began.

A grand New Year drum performance at the library entrance kicked off the event with impressive energy. The powerful, stirring rhythm ignited the crowd's enthusiasm and set a vibrant tone for the upcoming culinary feast. As the drums faded, guests moved to Taihe Hall, eager to begin their long-awaited taste journey.

At the event, Tian Yabin, Vice President of Chang'an Club, took the stage to deliver opening remarks. He thanked members and guests for their long-standing support and companionship, and previewed the club's exciting plans for its 30th anniversary. Following this, member Mr. Li Nan shared his insights on premium seafood tasting. Together, they cut into a whole tuna amid a countdown from the audience, symbolizing abundance and smooth sailing.

Head Chef Feng Shengguo and his team delivered a stunning fish-opening performance. With expert precision, sharp knives moved skillfully from tail to head and belly to back, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship at every cut. On-site, the host detailed the prime cuts of the tuna: rich Otoro (fatty belly) that melts in your mouth, balanced Chutoro offering a perfect blend of oiliness and texture, lean Akami with its clean, slightly tangy flavor, plus rare delicacies like Aburi (brain meat) and Cheek meat—giving guests a comprehensive appreciation of this ocean treasure.

Food and wine are a perfect match. The two sake varieties from Uxi Group, once introduced by professionals, complement the tender tuna with their unique flavors, adding rich layers to the palate. The arrival of premium caviar elevates the feast further, delivering a savory-sweet finish that exudes luxury.

From exquisite appetizers and fresh soups to salads, the highly anticipated tuna sashimi platter, grilled yellowtail with scales intact, and low-and-slow cooked Angus beef short ribs—each dish reflects our culinary team's dedication.
