Club members and attendees alike experienced the warmth and allure of the "Rainbow Nation."
Ambassador's Message: China-South Africa Relations Enter a New Era

Ambassador Xie Shengwen visited the event site and delivered a speech. He noted that with the successful hosting of the 2024 FOCAC, relations between China and South Africa have entered a "new era of comprehensive strategic partnership."
In his remarks, the Ambassador emphasized that people-to-people ties are a cornerstone of bilateral relations. Tourism plays a vital role in our relationship, serving as a bridge for cultural and economic exchange. South Africa boasts some of the world's most diverse and breathtaking natural landscapes, a rich history, and a vibrant culture. We are ready to welcome international visitors once again and look forward to hosting more Chinese tourists.
Dancing South Africa: A Visual Feast of Diverse Cultures

At the event, the South African (SA) Ensemble in China delivered a captivating performance of traditional dances. Representing diverse South African ethnic groups including Zulu, Xhosa, and Sotho, the dancers wore traditional attire and showcased the rich heritage of South African dance and music through powerful movements and rhythmic energy.
Among these, the South African Gumboot Dance stands out. Dancers wearing rubber boots create rhythmic sounds by slapping their boots and bodies. Originating from miners, this dance form exudes raw power and unique rhythm, leaving guests in awe.
