After a formal introduction of the attending leaders and guests by the host, Minister Liu joined over 100 entrepreneurs and cultural figures on-site to experience the unique charm of the canal culture.

Following this, Ren Deyong, a renowned expert on the history and culture of the Grand Canal and an invited committee member for cultural and historical affairs at the Tongzhou District CPPCC in Beijing, delivered a lecture titled "From a Canal Transport Hub to a Global Business District." With vivid storytelling, he traced the Grand Canal's millennium-long evolution—from its heyday as a vital transport artery to the new opportunities facing the Sub-Center—immersing members in the enduring legacy where the canal's cultural and commercial threads intertwine.

Yang Tao, General Manager of Fuhua Land, delivered a welcome address as the host.
